Job Objective

PAXUS and PAXUS-CONNECT are, respectively; fund accounting and share registration, fund administration software; and web portal software solutions developed, distributed and maintained by us, along with our optional web hosting solution PAXUS-CLOUD. We are seeking a candidate to fulfil the role of infrastructure administrator to support the day-to-day management and triaging of all group networks including server and client systems deployed over DaaS, SaaS and additional group cloud instances. This responsibility includes the administration of Servers, Routers, Switches, VPN endpoints, Firewalls, Wireless Access Points and identifying appropriate courses of action to ensure Network uptime, efficiency, redundancy and security. The principal role objectives are to assist with the administration of:

• Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP in Azure
• Citrix XenDesktop infrastructure
• Office 365 / Sharepoint
• Corporate email accounts and mapping to O365
• Web server certificates, pfs-cloud.com, pfssupport.com, pfs-connect.com etc.
• Monitoring & reviewing network performance
• Install and configure physical or virtual hardware and software including OS, patches and updates.
• Assist in maintenance and administration of internal VOIP phone system
• Assist with the administration and support of desktop systems including local office hardware and applications
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the CTO, CEO or senior management as directed

This is predominantly a business relationship-oriented role and is internal and external client facing so the ability to work effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team is essential. There are currently 115+ live sites with approx. 5000 users and over USD1Tn in fund assets being administered on PFS-PAXUS in over 30 countries.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

The role would suit an individual with 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role with:

• Minimum of 3+ years of server, network and desktop experience
• Knowledge and familiarity with Windows Server, Microsoft Office and desktop applications
• Technology certifications (MCITP, MCSA, MCTIP, A+, Network+, etc.)
• Experience with applications, and hardware support as well as an understanding of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, OWA, LDAP
• Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to provide ongoing end user training and be a strong team player
• A willingness to work flexible hours when urgent issues must be resolved.

Job Location

The job will be initially located at the company’s offices in Isle of Man. The working week is 9-5 Monday to Friday however the nature of the role effectively requires the infrastructure administrator to be available at all times should rare and unexpected urgent resolution of network issues be required; noting that the Sydney office can, in most cases, deal with urgent intra-day issues in their own time zone.

Job Objective

We develop & market a suite of products including PAXUS, PAXUS-CONNECT and PAXUS-DATAFEED, which provide complete fund accounting, share registration and fund administration functionality, integration with external fund pricing systems and a client web portal solution, along with our optional web hosting solution PAXUS-CLOUD. We are seeking a candidate to fulfil the role of test analyst to support our global client base. Reporting to the Test Manager, the key role objectives are to:

• Complete functional system & regression testing of all product enhancements, fixes and strategic projects, ensuring full coverage of the requirements & design;
• Complete regular manual & automated regression testing of planned upgrade releases (major & minor versions);
• Assist in the development of test automation suites using a variety of automation tools;
• Provide ad-hoc feedback on business requirements / technical design documents for new software developments;
• Provide ad-hoc support and consultancy to both internal and external clients.

This is a predominantly technology-oriented role with a focus on internal clients, so the ability to work effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team is essential; however, some external client facing work is also involved. There are currently 115+ live sites with approx. 5000 users and over USD1Tn in fund assets being administered on PAXUS in over 30 countries.

Required Experience:

The role would suit an experienced software Test Analyst, however candidates looking to move into a career in software testing would also be considered, although in a Junior Test Analyst role. The role requires:

• 2+ years of experience on similar Test Analyst role
• ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing completed or working towards
• Experience of SSMS / SQL Query, and prior fund accounting/transfer agency experience will be beneficial
• Excellent problem-solving and mathematical skills, as well as the ability to analyse and understand technical software designs
• The ability to self-motivate, self-manage and work under pressure in a small office environment
• A keen interest in IT and a willingness to learn multiple hardware configuration and software applications used in the delivery and maintenance of our products
• A willingness to work flexible hours when urgent issues must be resolved.

Less experienced / qualified candidates may be considered for a Junior Test Analyst role, which would provide on the job training & development in software testing techniques.

Job Location

The job will be located at the company’s offices in Isle of Man. There is a possibility of travel being required to our office in Sydney, Australia.

Job Objective

We are seeking a candidate to fulfil the role of Senior SQL Developer to support our global client base. Reporting to the head of support in Isle of Man the follow duties would apply;

• Management of development, test and production SQL Server databases
• Upgrading, patching and monitoring of SQL Server databases
• Working with the development team to solve performance issues and push best practices
• Introducing tooling to help streamline and automate database management and monitoring
• Providing cover, assistance and oversight of Infrastructure Manager of the our network infrastructure including maintenance, planning, support, security and upgrades to local, SaaS and DaaS environments

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• 3+ years of experience as a SQL developer T-SQL programming knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and database architecture
• Experience running databases with complex OLTP workloads on databases over 500gb
• Understanding of best practices for database backup, recovery, monitoring, security/encryption and performance
• This role requires a thorough understanding of SQL Server development (TSQL) and relevant unit testing knowledge, along with suitable experience of the software development lifecycle. C# and .NET related web development knowledge would be helpful but is not essential

Experience preferred (but not essential if willing to learn):

• Financial services experience
• SQL Server and/or MS Azure qualifications
• Powershell experience
• Experience migrating from on-prem databases to Azure SQL (contained databases)
• Experience running SQL Server on Azure VMs or managing Azure PaaS
• Experience with Azure DevOps, bug tracking tools, JIRA, etc

Job Objective

We are seeking a candidate to fulfil the role of business analyst to support our global client base.

Reporting to the Head of Support, the role objectives are to:

• Provide detailed support to analyse and respond to any user queries on the operation of the system (as submitted via the online support system). Such queries may relate to any part of the system and investigation and resolution of client queries and potential bugs raised by clients via phone call, email or support website. Provision of assistance will ultimately require a detailed knowledge of the system, as well as a sound knowledge of core fund accounting and share registration principles
• Provide end users with direct user training, assistance with converting fund data from legacy systems to PAXUS, assistance with collation of user requested enhancements to the system
• Assist and contribute to the ongoing development and testing of our software upgrades
• Assistance with preparation of business requirements documents for new software development
• Provide ad-hoc support and consultancy to both internal and external clients

Qualifications & Experience Required:

The role would suit an experienced fund accountant or a qualified accountant with comparable experience. The role requires:

• Excellent excel and mathematical skills for manipulation of large volumes of data
• The ability to self-motivate, self-manage and independently organise workflows
• The ability to solve problems under pressure, preference to work in a small office environment
• A keen interest in IT and be willing to learn multiple hardware configuration and software applications used in the delivery and maintenance of our products
• A willingness to work flexible hours when urgent issues must be resolved
• Ideally, candidates will have 5+ years prior experience in a NAV accounting role and have a keen interest in accounting and be willing to learn all aspects of fund accounting and administration methodologies including, fund, securities and shareholder transactions. Experience with PAXUS and/or SQL Query, and prior business analyst experience will benefit – however full training will be given to the successful candidate.

Job Objective

Our software is fund administration software focused on the integration of fund accounting and share registration processes. We are seeking a product expert to assist the Head of CRM in liaising with our existing and prospective global clients in respect of active use and understanding of our software systems, from resolution of issues and queries regarding use of the existing software, through to development and promotion of the system to support continued growth of the client base.

Duties:

Existing Client Support

• Monthly/quarterly/annual calls with clients, with frequency of calls according to size or special projects or activities to discuss elevated support issues
• Evaluating enhancement requests / assisting to define the product road maps
• Ascertaining Training requirements / arranging Consultancy
• Assistance with Special projects
• Informing clients of new functionality
• Working with existing Client upgrade plans
• Monitoring support activity to identify potential issues where clients are exceeding reasonable support levels, and to discuss this with respective clients
• Assisting the support team where you may have specialist knowledge to share to answer client queries or to resolve severe bugs
• Helping steer enhancements to the PAXUS-SUPPORT website to improve client service
• Managing client expectations where severe system faults or client issues arise with the software in accordance with SLA’s in client contracts
• Where clients have unreasonable expectations on the support levels and team, having conversations with clients to bring their expectations in line with SLAs

New Client Matters:

• Analysing Industry trends
• Providing System demos where requested
• Assisting with RFI/RFP responses
• Trial and proof of concepts
• Obtaining client references/testimonials.
• Promoting PAXUS-CONNECT and PAXUS-CLOUD into existing client base
• Assistance with clients GAP analysis.

Client Finance Matters:

• Provide feedback on client profitability analysis
• Assist with collating orders for licencing, training, consulting
• Assistance with debt recovery for late paying clients if requested

Product Development:

Assisting with:

• Gathering client development priorities and feeding this back into the development road map
• Prioritising new items for development in release cycles
• Client requirement gathering on items being considered for development
• Formulating a system functional design that will resolve client GAPS to improve the user community experience
• Preparing and/or reviewing client development quotation letters and business requirements documents
• Participation in development design discussions, and proof of concepts
• Functional spec peer review
• Review of new development before formalised testing commences on some development Coordination of tasks and problem-solving efforts with the London, Sydney, and St Petersburg offices.

There is a possibility of secondment to client sites to provide ‘onsite’ training and consultancy.
